APPOINTMENT OF HUGH SEABORNE AS A NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR



The Board of TR Property Investment Trust plc is pleased to announce the
appointment of Hugh Seaborne FRICS as a Non-Executive Director with effect from
24 July 2007.

Mr Seaborne has considerable experience in the property arena; he is the CEO of
the Portman Estate, Deputy Chairman of the Westminster Property Owners
Association and a member of the Council and Audit Committee of the Duchy of
Lancaster.


In accordance with paragraph 9.6.13 (1) to (6) of the Listing Rules it is
confirmed that there are no additional details to be disclosed in relation to
Hugh Seaborne.
