                 Profits Update for Year to 30th September 2002


Titon today announces that the preliminary announcement of results for the year
to 30th September 2002 will be made on the 12th December 2002.

Early indications are that whilst an improvement in profits over the first half
year has been achieved, this will not be sufficient to meet market expectations
for the full year.

However, it is encouraging to note that, in the last two months of the year,
improving market demand has been experienced.  The Directors expect that this
will continue into the current financial year and view the future with
confidence.
