The Company was informed on 2 August 2004 that Artemis Investment Management
Limited and certain of its subsidiary companies have a notifiable interest in
9,200,000 ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company ('Ordinary Shares'),
representing 3.02 per cent. of the current total issued Ordinary Share capital.
The beneficial holder of these Ordinary Shares is Artemis Special Situations
Fund.
