New Partnership to sell into NHS

Timestrip is delighted to announce that it has entered into a partnership with Brenmoor Limited to introduce a new product to add to Brenmoor's market leading range of printable patient wristbands that are used widely within the NHS. This is the second product in the newly launched TimestripMedical range.

Timestrip and Brenmoor have developed a detachable clip with fully integrated TimestripIV technology, which will be attached directly onto the clasp of the Brenmoor wristband. The process of attaching the clip to the wristband will also activate the TimestripIV.

TimestripIV has been designed to help hospitals comply with existing policy directives that stipulate the need to change Peripheral Intravenous Cannulae (PVCs) every 72 hours. The Company announced the launch of TimestripIV on 1st April 2009 alongside an order from the Whittington Hospital to allow them to undertake an in-use assessment of the product.

Brenmoor currently supply 80% of all printable patient wristbands to the NHS and this partnership will deliver a fully integrated solution to the growing number of hospitals who currently use the Brenmoor wristband and may also want to adopt TimestripIV within their infection control process.

Paul Freedman, Joint CEO, Timestrip Plc: 'We are delighted to be partnering with Brenmoor to bring this product to market. Brenmoor is the market leader in printable patient wristbands and this is a logical product innovation that enhances the Brenmoor range and gives us improved reach into the NHS with the TimestripIV product.'

Paul Brennan, Director, Brenmoor Limited: 'NHS guidelines stipulate that by mid-2009 all hospitals must stop using handwritten wristbands in favour of printed patient wristbands. Brenmoor is the only UK manufacturer and supplier of printable patient wristbands to the NHS Supply Chain and we are confident that we will continue to dominate this market as increasing numbers of hospitals move to comply with the guidelines. The addition of this to our product range is an exciting development that we are confident will be popular with hospitals.'
