On 24th May 2002, Artisan (UK) plc ('the Company') announced the appointment of
Michael Stevens as a director. Mr Stevens was previously a director of Rusbrook
Limited, not Rushbrook Limited, as mistakenly stated in the announcement.


At the same time, the Company announced that Mr Stevens was beneficially
interested in 10,000,000 ordinary shares, representing 3.72% of the Company's
issued share capital, which had been acquired by Aspen Finance Limited. Mr
Stevens is a director of Aspen Finance Limited, and he has a potential
beneficial interest in its parent company, Okaba Management Inc.
