Appointment of a new CEO at C&T Matrix Limited

Plastics Capital (AIM: PLA), the niche plastics products group, is pleased to announce the appointment of Simon Shenton as CEO of C&T Matrix Limited ("C&T"), one of its four subsidiary businesses, based in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire.

Mr. Shenton has 13 years of experience in sales, marketing and management roles in the paper and packaging industry such as Fedrigoni Cartiere and ArjoWiggins Appleton.  In addition he holds an MA in International Business from Heriot Watt University and is fluent in Italian and French.

He will succeed Andrew Robinson, who has been CEO since the creation of C&T, following the acquisition of Channel Matrix Limited by Plastics Capital in August 2007 and merger with Trimplex Limited.  Mr. Robinson will take on the role of Deputy Chairman of C&T and will remain involved in the company's strategic development.

C&T is a leading global manufacturer of creasing matrix, a consumable product used in the manufacture of cardboard boxes, cards and point of sale material.  A creasing matrix enables folds to be made in cardboard and facilitates accurate high quality creasing prior to folding.  C&T sells this product through a network of over 140 distributors worldwide.
