Sydbank share buyback programme: transactions in week 50

Termination of share buyback programme

On 20 February 2018 Sydbank announced a share buyback programme of DKK 500m. On 22 June 2018 the share buyback programme was increased to DKK 1,250m. The share buyback programme commenced on 21 February 2018 and was scheduled to end on or before 31 January 2019.

On 14 December 2018 Sydbank released Company Announcement 71/2018 announcing its decision to end the current share buyback programme. As a consequence of the decision the final trading day under the share buyback programme was 13 December 2018.

The purpose of the share buyback programme has been to reduce the share capital of Sydbank A/S and the programme has been executed in compliance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) No 596/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 April 2014 and the Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2016/1052 of 8 March 2016, collectively referred to as the Safe Harbour rules.
