Purchase of own shares

SThree plc announces that on 23 October 2008, it purchased for cancellation, 87,508 ordinary shares of 1p each at an average price of 158.1394 pence per share.

The highest price paid was 159.5 pence per share and the lowest price paid was 157 pence per share.

For confirmation the Company's issued capital is now 123,104,887 ordinary shares of 1p each.
