Purchase of own shares

SThree plc announces that on 26 September 2008, it purchased for cancellation, 35,084 ordinary shares of 1p each at an average price of 193.731 pence per share.

The highest price paid was 195.75 pence per share and the lowest price paid was 190.75 pence per share.

For confirmation the Company's issued capital is now 124,119,148 ordinary shares of 1p each.
