Director Update

St. James's Place plc announces that Dominic Burke will be stepping down as a Director of the Company.  Dominic joined the Board in October 2022. He was subsequently announced as the co-founder and Executive Chairman of Aptia, a newly formed US employee benefits and UK pension administration business in June 2023.  In order to be able to commit the time required to this new role, Dominic has decided that he will no longer be able to devote the necessary time to the Board of St. James's Place plc.  Dominic will continue to be a Director until 31 January 2024 and will continue in his role as Senior Independent Director during this period.

The Chair of the Board, Paul Manduca commented "I would like to thank Dominic for his valuable contribution during his short time on the Board.  While we were keen for Dominic to remain a Director, we recognise that his external time commitments would make this challenging.  As part of our ongoing succession planning, plans to recruit further non-executive directors were already underway and we will look to accelerate these."

Dominic Burke commented "I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with SJP and am extremely disappointed to be leaving after such a short time. I wish the business every success."
