Issue of share options to directors of Spice Holdings plc ('Spice' or 'the Company')

Following consultation with certain principal shareholders after the
announcement of interim results on 16 January  2006, Spice announces that share
options over ordinary shares of 10 pence each, in the Company, have been granted
to  the following directors today under the terms of the Company's Performance
Share Plan:

The vesting of these options is subject to the achievement of demanding targets
for compound growth in earnings per  share over the period for the three years
ending 30 April 2008, and may be exercised in the period from January 2009 to 
January 2016. Nil consideration is payable in respect of the grant of options.
