LETTER TO COMPANY ANNOUNCEMENTS OFFICE

Paragraph 16.4 of the Listing Rules

We write further to the Announcement dated 21 March 2000 concerning the
appointment of Mr G R Menzies as a director of the Company and which detailed
his other directorships of publicly listed companies in the last five years.

There are no matters that require disclosure for Mr Menzies in respect of the
Listing Rules para. 6.F.2, items (b) to (g).
