Repurchase of Ordinary Shares for Cancellation
The Scottish American Investment Company PLC announces that on
30th March, 2000 it purchased for cancellation 50,000 ordinary
shares in the market at a price of 264p per ordinary share and
250,000 ordinary shares at a price of 263.5p per ordinary
share. There remains 161,660,943 ordinary shares in issue.
