Schroders plc announces that Mr John Bainbridge F.C.A. has been appointed
Company Secretary with immediate effect. He replaces Mr Andrew Gaulter who
has accepted a position with Schroder Salomon Smith Barney following that
company's acquisition of Schroders' investment banking business.
