Schroder Oriental Income Fund Limited (the 'Company') announces in accordance
with Listing Rule 9.6.14 that Mr Chris Sherwell, a non-executive Director of the
Company, has informed the Company that JP Morgan Progressive Multi Strategy Fund
Limited, of which he is also a non-executive director, has been admitted to
trading on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) and the Channel Islands Stock
Exchange (CISX) with effect from 15 May 2007.
