The Company was notified on 7 November 2005 that as at 3 November 2005, Barclays
plc had a notifiable interest, through legal entities listed below, in 4,996,922
ordinary shares of 10p each in the Company, being 3.99% of the 125,008,200
shares in issue.


The details of the legal entities are as follows: Gerrard Ltd, 3,057,995 shares;
Barclays Bank Trust Company Ltd, 11,691 shares; Barclays Life Assurance Co Ltd,
221,039 shares and Barclays Global Investors Ltd, 1,706,197 shares.  The
shareholdings are held through various nominee accounts.
