Schroder Japan Trust plc (the "Company") announces in accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.14(2) that Angus Macpherson, a non-executive director of the Company, has been appointed as a non-executive director of Templeton Emerging Markets Investment Trust plc with effect from 6 October 2023, and will take on the role of Chairman of the Templeton Emerging Markets Investment Trust plc on 1 January 2024.
