Result of Audit Tender

Schroder AsiaPacific Fund plc (the "Company") announces that the Board has approved the appointment of Ernst & Young LLP as the Company's independent auditor for the current financial year, ending 30 September 2019.

This appointment follows a competitive tender process, conducted as described in the Company's 2018 Annual Report and Accounts.

Shareholder approval for the re-appointment of Ernst & Young LLP as the Company's auditor for the next financial year, ending 30 September 2020, will be sought at the Company's Annual General Meeting to be held in early 2020.

PwC LLP, the Company's current auditor will be resigning in May 2019 after having served as auditor since 1995. There are no matters in connection with PwC LLP's prospective resignation as the Company's auditor which, in the view of the Board, need to be brought to the attention of shareholders.
