Conversion of Subscription Shares

Schroder AsiaPacific Fund plc (the "Company") announces that the Company issued 1 ordinary share yesterday following the exercise of conversion rights by a subscription shareholder. The ordinary share will rank pari passu with the existing ordinary shares and commence trading today.

Following this issue of an ordinary share there are 145,949,116 ordinary shares and 28,451,600 subscription shares in issue. Each ordinary share carries one voting right; the subscription shares carry no voting rights. The total number of voting rights in the Company following this issue is therefore 145,949,116.
