Following purchases of its own Redeemable Preference Shares on 15 October 2003,
Second Advance Value Realisation Company Limited announces that, in the period
since the redemption of Redeemable Preference Shares on 30 September 2003, it
has purchased 3,204,264 of its own Redeemable Preference Shares in the market
for cancellation.


Following the cancellation of these Redeemable Preference Shares, the Company
will have 6,147,453 Redeemable Preference Shares in issue.
