The Company was notified on 28 July 2005, that on 27 July 2005, City Equities
Limited acquired as principal a total of 15,000,000 Sareum Ordinary Shares
representing 4.3 per cent. of the issued share capital of the Company. Having
sold 7,860,000 of these shares to certain of its private customers, City
Equities Limited no longer has a notifiable interest in the Company.
