Official Launch of New York Showroom

Walker Greenbank PLC (AIM: WGB), the luxury interior furnishings group whose brands include Sanderson, Morris & Co., Harlequin, Zoffany, Scion and Anthology, announces that its remodelled New York showroom was last night officially opened at a launch party held in association with the US design magazine Veranda.

The launch party featured four acclaimed US designers who each showcased a virtual room created using the design tools on Walker Greenbank's Style Library website. The website, at www.stylelibrary.com/, was launched earlier this year and brings together products from all of the Company's brands.

The designers who created the virtual rooms for the launch party were Robin Baron and Matthew Patrick Smythe from New York, Mark D Sikes from California and Elana Frankel, style director of the One Kings Lane online marketplace.

Walker Greenbank's New York showroom is on the fourth floor of Manhattan's premier decoration and design building, where the Company has had a presence since 1999. The newly refurbished and extended showroom has a significantly increased floor area available for showcasing the Company's products. Construction work was completed in the summer with the official launch yesterday timed to coincide with the start of the key autumn selling period.

John Sach, Walker Greenbank's Chief Executive, said: "The US is an important growth market for Walker Greenbank and we expect this flagship showroom in Manhattan to drive our sales in the New York area. The remodelling of the showroom is a key part of our growth strategy in the US, where we are also trialling B2B e-commerce. Last night's launch party at the showroom attracted many of our customers and potential customers, who were excited to see the potential of our Style Library website."
