The Sage Group plc ("the Company")

Director/PDMR Shareholding

On 19 March 2010 the Company was notified that Klaus Michael Vogelberg, Group Chief Technology Officer and a member of the Executive Committee of the Company, had exercised:

(i)         an option over 51,877 ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at an exercise price of 134p per share (the exercise over 45,957 Ordinary Shares took place on 16 March 2010 and the exercise over the remaining 5,920 Ordinary Shares took place on 19 March 2010); and

(ii)         an option over 71,930 Ordinary Shares at an exercise price of 171p per share on 16 March 2010,

both under the terms of The Sage Group 1999 Executive Share Option Scheme.

Mr Vogelberg subsequently sold 98,850 Ordinary Shares (the sale of 92,930 Ordinary Shares took place on 16 March 2010 at 250p per share, and the sale of the remaining 5,920 Ordinary Shares took place on 19 March 2010 at 250.20p per share).
