                                56th NEW ROUTE

                              LONDON TO BOLOGNA


Ryanair, Europe's largest low fares airline today (Tuesday, 11th September
2001) announced further expansion of its network, with the launch of new daily
return services from London (Stansted) to Bologna (Forli).

From 1st November, Ryanair will operate daily flights on the Bologna route,
operated by brand new Boeing 737-800 aircraft. For the first month of travel,
Every seat on Every flight will be sold at just Stg£39.99 return including
taxes, (with a Stg£10 supplement for travel at weekends). These fares will
save passengers over 70% on Alitalia's lowest fare to Bologna and are half the
so-called low fare competition on the route from GO.

Announcing Ryanair's 56th New Route today Ryanair's Chief Executive, Michael
O'Leary, said:


    'Really low fares are finally coming to Bologna. The City has been a
    victim of the BA-Alitalia high fare rip-off for far too long, while GO
    only talk about low fares - they don't deliver them. Through our new and
    highly efficient gateway at Forli, we can bring really low fares to
    Bologna, as well as serving important tourism centres on the Adriatic
    coast including Rimini.

    'We now serve more European points from Stansted than British Airways does
    from Heathrow, which is a measure of the popularity of low fares with both
    British and European consumers. We saved the 1Million passengers who
    travelled with us in the month of August alone, over Stg£100m compared
    with the fares they would have paid with our high fare competitor
    airlines, and we look forward to welcoming many more new customers onto
    this new service to Bologna.

    Daily flights to Bologna (Forli) begin on 1st November 2001.
