RWS Holdings plc ("RWS") is pleased to announce the appointment of David Shrimpton to succeed John Ivey as Senior Non-Executive Director of RWS with immediate effect.

David, a Chartered Accountant, had a distinguished career in professional and financial services with Deloitte, Midland Bank and BDO, and also spent two years in the Industrial Development Unit of the Department of Industry. He was latterly a Senior partner at BDO, in charge of the South East office.

He is non-executive director of Affinity Sutton Homes (a top 5 national social housing group), Ruxley Holdings (a property services group) and FD Solutions (provision of part-time finance directors).

On the 26 February 2004 Cashtec Services Ltd, of which David Shrimpton was a non-executive director was put into administration. Cashtec Services Ltd was subsequently taken out of administration and took part in a Creditors Voluntary Arrangement, which saw a distribution to the unsecured creditors.

Save for the disclosures above, there are no further disclosures to be made in accordance with Rule 17 and Schedule 2(g) of the AIM Rules.
