                                Grant of Options

On 30 June 2004, Frank Maguire and Ian Cameron, directors of AorTech
International plc ('the Company'), were granted options over 200,000 and 50,000
Ordinary Shares of £2.50 each respectively.  The options are exerciseable at any
time between 3 and 10 years after the date of grant at an exercise price of
167.5p per share.  No amount is required to be paid in respect of the grant of
the option.
