                           DRILLING ACTIVITY UPDATE:
                 CLIFF HEAD-6 SUSPENDED AS FUTURE OIL PRODUCER


Roc Oil (WA) Pty Ltd, Operator for and on behalf of the WA-286-P Joint Venture,
advises that, as of 05.00 hrs Australian Western Standard Time the Cliff Head-6
well has been cased and suspended as a future oil producer. The Ensco 56 jack-up
drilling rig will be released later today or tomorrow, subject to weather. The
rig will then move to the Hadda-1 exploration well location in WA-327-P some 100
km north of Cliff Head Oil Field.
