Cobb County chooses Computrac

Computrac classroom technology chosen by Cobb County School District

RM Group company, Computrac, has been selected by Cobb County School District (the 2nd largest K12 School District in Georgia) to provide interactive classroom solutions as part of the District's major plans to implement interactive technologies in its 114 schools. The District expects to spend over $32 million over the next several years to implement interactive technologies in over 8,000 K12 classrooms.

Computrac has been awarded an initial contract valued at approximately $18m to provide and install audio-visual equipment. In addition, in a separate contract worth up to $14mComputrac, along with two other vendors, has been selected to provide additional interactive classroom devices. The Interactive Project is scheduled to begin shortly and be completed over the next few years subject to annual re-evaluation.

Commenting on the contract awards, Terry Sweeney, Chief Executive of RM, said:
