                          Announcement of Board Change


The directors of Reliance Security announce that Geoff Haslehurst, the Group
Managing Director, has decided to leave the Company with effect from 30 April
2003, the end of this financial year. Mr Haslehurst's departure is entirely
amicable and his successor will be announced in due course.

Commenting, the Executive Chairman, Brian Kingham, said:

'Geoff has been with Reliance for seven years, initially as finance director and
more recently as managing director. The board and I thank him for his great
contribution to the Group and its operating businesses and we wish him every
success for the future.'
