                                 AGM Statement


At the Company's Annual General Meeting today, Brian Kingham, Chairman,
commenting on current trading, said:

'In the early months of the current financial year we have continued to grow
organically.

Demand for security services has remained healthy, with heightened awareness of
potential threats. Although the market remains highly competitive, there is
sustained interest in our capacity to provide comprehensive security solutions.

The market for facilities management and outsourced business processes is
growing strongly. The two year, £6 million per annum Centrex contract which we
won in April has been successfully mobilised and is operating well. Our leading
position as a provider of support services to the UK criminal justice system is
underscored by the award, earlier this month, of a 3 year, £3 million per annum
contract with the Thames Valley Police. The contract to provide offender
electronic monitoring services for the whole of Scotland, which we announced in
January, is now fully operational.

We continue to look to the future with confidence.'
