HOLDING IN COMPANY



Further to the announcement on 1 February about the notifiable interests of FMR
Corp. and its direct and indirect subsidiaries and Fidelity International
Limited and its direct and indirect subsidiaries and Mr Edward C Johnson 3d (a
principal shareholder of FMR Corp. and Fidelity International Limited) Redrow
was notified on 14 February by Fidelity International that the interest of these
entities in the issued ordinary share capital of Redrow plc is  8,972,256, being
5.64% of the company, not the 8,134,098 shares previously notified.
