Red Rock Resources plc 08 January 2007 RED ROCK RESOURCES PLC Issue of Equity Dated: 8 January 2007 Red Rock Resources plc ('Red Rock' or the 'Company') the mineral exploration and development company focused on advancing iron ore, uranium and manganese projects in Australia and East Africa, has issued 9,950,000 new ordinary shares of 0.1p each in the capital of the Company (the 'Placing Shares') at 2p per Placing Share, conditional on the Placing Shares being admitted to trading on AIM. Starvest plc agreed to subscribe for 1,250,000 Placing Shares at 2p per Placing Share. Following this subscription, Starvest plc holds 6,250,000 ordinary shares in the Company, which is approximately 3.4% of the issued share capital as enlarged by the placing. John Watkins, a director of the Company and of Starvest plc, agreed to subscribe for 250,000 Placing Shares at 2p per Placing Share, and following this subscription he holds 250,000 ordinary shares in the Company. Following the issue of the Placing Shares the Company's total issued share capital will be 181,647,500 ordinary shares. Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange for the Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM. Dealings are expected to commence at 8.00 a.m. on 12 January 2007.
