Following the approval of a new executive share option scheme by shareholders in
2000, Trinity Mirror plc granted on 11th April 2002 options over ordinary 10p
shares to the following directors, at an option price of 470.5 pence (the
average of the middle market quotations of the three days preceding 11th April
2002).
