Changes to the register of director information
Randall & Quilter (AIM: RQIH), the specialist non-life insurance investor, service provider and underwriting manager, announces the following in accordance with AIM Rule 17 and Schedule 2 (g) of the AIM Rules for Companies.
On 4 June 2010, the Appeals Tribunal of the Accountant's Joint Disciplinary Scheme reprimanded Kevin Paul McNamara, a non-executive director of RQIH, for a lack of professional competence in relation to the 1998 and 1999 audits of Equitable Life.
No fine was levelled against MrMcNamara personally and the Tribunal rejected the suggestion that the reprimand should be characterised as "severe". It also stated that there was no suggestion that he should be excluded from the accountancy profession.
Mr McNamara retains the full confidence of the rest of the Board of RQIH.
