On 20th December 2005 the Company received notification by Citibank, N.A. London
Branch, Citigroup Centre, Canada Square, Canary Wharf, London E14 5LB that, as
at, 16th December 2005 Standard Life Investments acquired 1,042,275 shares on
behalf of Standard Life Group and therefore had material and non-material
interests of 34,309,999 ordinary 1p shares in the Company representing 14.010%
of the issued share capital.

The 34,309,999 shares were registered in the name of Vidacos Nominees.
