On 26 July 2004 the Company was notified by HMTF Premier Limited that, pursuant
to the Global Offer and connected stabilisation transactions, on 23 July 2004
and on 26 July 2004 HMTF Premier Limited disposed of its interest in an
aggregate of 163,848,460 Ordinary Shares and on 26 July 2004 acquired an
interest in 24,418,605 Ordinary Shares and therefore has a notifiable interest
under Section 198 of the Companies Act 1985 in 49,934,783 Ordinary Shares of the
Company all of which are registered in the name of NY Nominees Limited.
