                       AMENDMENT TO DIVIDEND PAYMENT DATE


Further to the announcement released on 12 March 2003, Portmeirion Group Plc 
announces that the Directors propose the payment of a final dividend of 9.95p 
per ordinary share on 30 May 2003, not 27 May 2003 as previously stated. The 
dividend record date and ex-dividend date remain unchanged.
