PORTMEIRION GROUP PLC (the 'Company')
Portmeirion Group PLC has today been advised that on 14
September 2000 Fortress Finance Investments Inc., a British
Virgin Islands corporation, purchased 75,000 ordinary shares
in the Company, and now holds a total of 470,000 ordinary
shares representing 4.52% of the issued share capital.
