The Company announces that on 13 September 2010 pursuant to the exercise of options under The Portmeirion 2002 Share Option Scheme it transferred 40,000 ordinary shares of 5p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares")from a number of shares held in treasury by the Company.

The total number of Ordinary Shares now held by the Company in treasury is 570,218.  The Company has 10,563,030 Ordinary Shares in issue and 9,992,812 Ordinary Shares with voting rights following this notification.
