Playtech, the AIM listed international designer, developer and licensor of
software for the gambling industry, today announces the resignation of Omer
Shvili from his position as a non-executive director of the Board.


During his time as a non executive, Mr. Shvili has also been working as a
consultant for iPoker, playtech's poker network, which has become increasingly
important in Playtech's progress over recent months. This has placed extra
demands on Mr. Shvili's time resulting in his decision to step down from the
Board. He will retain his position as a consultant to iPoker and thus remain
fully committed to Playtech's future success.


Playtech is seeking to further strengthen the Board by appointing non executives
with relevant experience
