                             DIRECTOR'S SHAREHOLDING


The Company was notified today that Dr. Donald Marx had transferred 432,283
ordinary shares of 1p from his own name into a Living Trust, of which he is a
trustee. Following the transaction, Dr Marx's beneficial interest in the
shareholding remains unchanged.
