Pittards plc the producer of technically advanced leather for many of the
world's leading brands of gloves, shoes, luxury leathergoods and sports
equipment, announces the retirement of Mr Robert Tomkinson from the Board. He
has been Chairman since 1997 and the Board would like to thank him for his
contribution during these seven years.

The Board is pleased to announce that Mr Stephen Boyd who joined as Deputy
Executive Chairman in September 2004 is appointed Chairman.
