The Company was notified today that on 12 September 2008 Mr Ettore Contini, a Non-Executive Director of the Company, made a nil-price, non-market transfer of 10,000 SOCO International plc ordinary shares of £0.20 each ('Shares').   The disposal represents 0.01% of the issued share capital of the Company.

Following this transaction, Mr Contini is interested in 50,000 Shares, representing 0.07% of the issued share capital of the Company.
