Publication of Supplementary Prospectus

Personal Assets Trust plc (the "Company") has today published a supplementary prospectus approved by the UK Listing Authority.  The publication of the supplementary prospectus is a regulatory requirement under the Prospectus Rules following the publication of the Company's annual report and accounts for the year ended 30 April 2011.

The supplementary prospectus is supplemental to, and should be read in conjunction with, the prospectus published by the Company on 1 April 2011 in relation to the placing of up to 300,000 shares in aggregate for the purpose of operating its premium control policy.

Copies of the supplementary prospectus will shortly be available for inspection at the Document Viewing Facility, The Financial Services Authority, 25 The North Colonnade, Canary Wharf, London E14 5HS.

Copies of the supplementary prospectus are also available in electronic form on the Company's website at http://www.patplc.co.uk and available for collection from the Company's offices at 10 St. Colme Street, Edinburgh EH3 6AA.
