Persimmon plc (the 'Company') announces that on 14 November 2006 it was informed
that on that day, Mr R C N Davidson, Non-Executive Director, had purchased
35,500 ordinary shares in the Company at 1394p per share, through his Scottish
Mutual Executive Pension Plan. As a result Mr Davidson is interested in 38,350
shares or 0.01% of the issued share capital of the Company.
