Director/PDMR Shareholding

Persimmon plc (the "Company") announces that it has been informed that today, Mark Preston, non-executive Director has purchased 500 ordinary shares in the Company at an average price of 1019.55p. These shares are held in an ISA.

As a result of this transaction Mr Preston is interested in 500 shares, <0.01% of the issued share capital of the Company. 

The issued share capital of the Company on 21 March 2013 was 302,924,819 ordinary shares.
