Directors' Shareholding

Persimmon plc (the "Company") announces that on 11 June 2010 it was informed that on 10 June 2010 Mrs Rosalind White, wife of John White, Group Chairman transferred 83,000 ordinary shares in the Company to a family trust for nil consideration. As a result of this transaction Mr White and his wife remain beneficially interested in 2,125,160 shares or 0.7% of the issued share capital of the Company (excluding Treasury Shares) and also have a non-beneficial interest of 176,000 ordinary shares.

The issued share capital of the Company on 11 June 2010 (excluding shares held in Treasury) was 301,171,561 ordinary shares.
