Pennon Group Plc has today received notification (by letter dated 5 December
2001) that AEGON UK plc Group has decreased its interest and now holds
6,671,293 Ordinary shares of £1 each in Pennon Group Plc, representing 4.87%
of the issued share capital of the Company.
