Pennon Group Plc has today received notification (by letter dated 3 May 2001)
pursuant to Section 198 (as amended), of the Companies Act 1985 that the
interest in its shares of AEGON UK plc Group is now 4,710,987 Ordinary shares
of £1 each in Pennon Group Plc, representing 3.37% of the issued share capital
of the Company.
