Re Contract

Parity Group PLC 25 November 2002 25 November 2002 Parity announces International training contract with Galileo Parity Group plc ('Parity' or 'the Group'), the IT services group, confirms the details of a major training contract with Galileo International. The contract will be worth a seven-figure sum a year for two years with a start date for delivery of training of April 2003. This contract win by Parity Training was mentioned in the Group's interim results statement on 25 September 2002 as being the fourth outsourcing agreement won since the beginning of 2002. At the time this took total annual Training outsourcing revenues under framework agreements to £10.0 million per annum over the next three years. Parity also highlighted the importance of the contract in assisting the expansion of the Group's training business in mainland Europe. The cost of competing for the contract has been written off within operating costs as incurred throughout 2002, as anticipated at the time of the interim results announcement. Galileo International provides electronic global distribution services to the travel industry which enable travel agencies and other subscribers to access schedule and fare information, book reservations and issue tickets for over 500 airlines. Parity will provide customised training courses in Galileo's solutions for all its new customers and supply on-going training programmes for its existing customers. Parity will also provide specialist training workshops and e-learning content, as required. It is anticipated that under the contract, Parity will train approximately 10,000 people each year. Parity will provide the training at locations across the UK and selected locations across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. A key factor in Parity's success in tendering for the contract was its ability to meet Galileo's existing demand for location and training content across these regions. Ian Miller, Chief Executive of Parity, said: 'This is a significant contract win for Parity which leverages our mainland Europe capabilities and adds to the credibility of our training business in competing for and winning major global contracts. Work has already started on the contract and we look forward to beginning to deliver training courses from April next year.'
